Responsibility:
The Consultant is the
actual providers of professional services to our customers. They use
Fourth Shift’s standard tools and methodologies to provide support
to the successful implementation and on-going use of the system.
Essential Duties and
Responsibilities:
1. Provide technical expertise to customers that insure their
success in the implementation and on-going use of Fourth Shift.
Specific assignments are made in accordance to a stated project
plan.
2. Create and use engagement reports for each assignment. This means
getting an agreement in the beginning of the engagement of what is
to be performed, and a “sign-off” at the end of the engagement that
it has been accomplished.
3. Maintain a personal calendar that goes out at least six weeks,
and identifies the 10 or more billable activity days you have
scheduled each month.
4. Maintain expertise and competencies in your specific technical
area(s) and with Fourth Shift product and service offerings.
Requirement:
-
Majored in Computer
Science or associated areas.
-
Familiar with
Microsoft SQL Server 2000 database and Windows 2000 networking.
-
Have programming
experience with VB / VC++ and SQL Server database. Experience with
XML / XSL / ASP is preferred.
-
Fluent in Mandarin and
English. Cantonese proficiency is preferred.
-
Experience with ERP/MRPII
system is preferred.
-
Ability to diagnose
customer problems, develop solutions and communicate effectively
to customers' personnel.

Effective
interpersonal skills to work as a project team leader and to deal
with a variety of different customers.

Effective
communication and presentation skills.
-
Team-working player.
-
A moderate amount of
travel to customers' facilities is required.

Role/Responsibilities:
Could include but are not
limited to:
1. Generate sales leads primarily
via Cold Calling, Seminars, User Groups and other lead generating activities.
Update and maintain prospect database.
2. Develop and manage Business Partnerships in your region.
3. Work closely with business partners for any marketing activities.
4. Work closely with the regional manager, account manager and salespersons on
special projects in the region as needed.
5. Assist with the management of all sales leads in various status.
6. Keep customer database information current for the installed base in the
region. (Contact names, phone number, FAX number, email address, etc.)
7. Keep customers up to date with the latest Fourth Shift news and information
through email, FAX, mailings, etc.
8. Organize and track marketing/sales literature in Beijing office.
9. Represent Fourth Shift in a professional, honest and reputable manner.
10. Keep in touch with local media (PR, articles, etc).
11. Collect and analyze competitors’ information.
Requirement:
1. Sociable, excellent communication
and interpersonal skills. Able to communicate effectively with
prospects/customers/partners and internally.
2. Marketing experience required, preferable in ERP industry.
3. Better having channel/partner management experience. Capable of managing
various kinds of partners.
4. Good computer skills, better with experience using CRM or sales/marketing
software
5. Experience of public relations. Proactive and creative.
6. Good command of English, good English translation and writing skills.
7. Good market research and analysis skills. Good planning skills.
8. Team-working player.
